I'm just under 100 days until the Boston Marathon, and training has been slowly and surely been picking up in terms of my preparation. My longest run to date has been 13 miles and I've already completed a number of marathon-paced runs, starting early to ensure the pace is well engrained mentally and physically for race day (thanks coach!) This is the first of what I'm sure will be many posts about the 2015 Boston Marathon!!!
While training for any marathon is challenging, Boston is certainly unique given the course profile:

New Years is always a time of reflection of the previous year and goal setting for what's to come. I have never gotten caught up in the whole "resolution" thing, instead, I'm much more of a big picture, goal-setter, dream-big type gal. I determine what my major goals are an mobilize my resources and set up a plan of action to make them happen.
I am also a fan of setting small, easily attainable goals. One such goal for 2015 is to learn how to make an infographic. Maybe you'll start seeing them more on here... maybe not. Regardless, I decided to knock this one out early by summarizing my 2014 Training in Numbers through this lovely graphic:
